Tuning and mastery

Tune launch, power, speed, and handling for each track and build mastery in IdleRevs.

Tune for the track

Each slider runs from 0 to 100. At the neutral value of 50 it changes no stats; moving toward either end trades up to 10 points between two stats. Setups are saved for each owned car and track, while weekly events keep a separate event setup.

Mastery grows with racing

Completed races build mastery for both the car you drive and the track you race.

Car mastery

Each level after 1 increases all four car stats. The bonus is applied before tuning and track priorities.

Track mastery

Track mastery adds points directly to race performance. The gains become smaller at higher levels and approach an 8-point limit.

Mastery XP

Car and track mastery each earn about 360 XP per hour of racing, regardless of your car or track. This also applies to weekly events.

Each completed lap awards 1 XP per 10 seconds spent racing, rounded to the nearest whole XP. Rounding causes small differences in the hourly rate.

Both masteries use the same increasing XP requirement for each new level.
