How a championship works
A Career championship is a short season of races against nine rival drivers. You race one car from start to finish, and the best total of points wins.
Pick a class
Each class has its own season on its own permanent tracks, raced in unlock order. Only cars of that exact class can enter.
- C3 stages
- B4 stages
- A5 stages
- S6 stages
Score points
Each stage pays points to the top ten finishers:
- P125
- P218
- P315
- P412
- P510
- P68
- P76
- P84
- P92
- P101
Tied on points? More stage wins goes ahead, then the better place in the latest stage.
Climb the tiers
Finish the season in the top three to clear its tier and unlock the next one in that class. Each tier brings faster rivals. You can always go back and race a tier you have already cleared.
Everyone who starts the same class and tier faces the same rivals, so results can be compared fairly.
Retry a stage
A stage isn't final until you move on, so you can keep trying for a better result.
Same race every time
Each stage has a fixed race day. The same car, upgrades, mastery and tune give the same result. To finish higher, change something: adjust the tune, fit a better upgrade or race the track to raise its mastery.
Retry or move on
Once a race has finished, you can retry the current stage or go to the next one. Moving on locks in your best attempt, judged by place first and finish time second. Earlier stages can't be raced again.
