Events

How IdleRevs weekly and daily events work: scouting a mystery track, class standings, event tuning, schedules and rewards.

The weekly event cycle

Each weekly event starts with community scouting, then opens ranked competition. The schedule below shows this week in your local time after the page loads.

Scouting

Early week

Complete laps together to uncover clues about one shared mystery track. Your four personal milestones use the event's saved lap counts. Each grants $1,000/$2,000/$3,000/$4,000 and 5/10/15/20 personal reputation, plus one upgrade. Choose any car you still own that completed a Scouting lap this event. If only one car qualifies, it gets the upgrade automatically. Its upgrade slot and rarity are random. The third and fourth milestones guarantee Street Mk II rarity or better. Completing the shared scouting goal grants $2,000 and five personal reputation to each driver who completed at least one scouting lap.

The four milestones take about 15, 45, 90 and 180 minutes of laps at the track's reference pace. They count laps, so a faster car reaches them sooner.

Competition

Late week

Chase your fastest completed lap in separate C, B, A and S standings. You can enter every class you own and earn each class's rewards. Tied times share a place and skip the next place, such as 1, 1, 3. Each class pays a total cash reward based on class and placement, plus one random bundle of components for one car in that class. Fourth or lower earns 1 component, third earns 2, second earns 3, and first earns 4.

First place pays $20,000 in C class, $40,000 in B, $60,000 in A and $80,000 in S. Second place pays three quarters of that, third pays half and fourth or lower pays a quarter.

Completed

After competition

Competition cash, components and reputation arrive automatically after results settle. Completing at least one competition lap grants 20 personal reputation once per event, plus 40/65/100 for third, second or first in each class. Components target one random unowned car in that class, or a random owned car when you own every car in the class. Find reward records and past results in Past events. Scouting upgrade claims and earlier event choices remain available there.

Prepare for the event

Weekly events use familiar cars and stats, but provide their own track, tuning setup, and reward path.

Event track

Start with the track's name, description and total length. Community discoveries reveal clues; your run log reports what the driver observed. Exact geometry and ideal tuning values remain hidden.

Event tuning

Each car's event setup is saved separately from its tuning on permanent tracks, so event changes do not replace those setups.

Event rewards

Event races grant cash, XP and mastery; parts come from scouting and competition prizes. Scouting rewards settle when scouting ends. If you used several cars, you can choose one for each earned upgrade; with one car, upgrades are granted automatically. The upgrade slot and rarity are random. The third and fourth scouting milestones guarantee Street Mk II rarity or better. Competition bundles contain random build components for one target car. Their class and quantity appear in the standings tab. Car and track mastery gain XP at the usual rate.

Competition ends with a 24-hour break before the next weekly track.

Daily events

Daily events are one-hour races that can start at the top of any hour. When one is running, it appears on the Tracks page and in the top bar.

When they appear

Every hour has a 1 in 10 chance of a daily event. Each one runs on its own track and lasts exactly one hour.

Standings

As in weekly Competition, each class has its own standings, ranked by your fastest completed lap. You can race in every class you own. Tied times share a place.

Rewards

Cash and reputation are paid automatically after the event ends. Higher classes pay more cash, and first place in a class pays four times as much as fourth or lower. Personal reputation runs from 24 for first place down to 3 for fourth or lower. Daily event laps don't drop parts.

When an event ends

Your event race stops when the event closes. You can choose what your car does next.

Before joining a daily or weekly event, pick an unlocked permanent track under When the event ends. The same car moves there with its saved setup and keeps racing. The offline limit carries over, so the switch doesn't add extra offline time.

Results and rewards for finished events stay in Past events, including Scouting upgrades you haven't claimed yet.
